Aquacell Water Receives $3 Million in Commitments For Arsenic Removal Systems

Rancho Cucamonga, CA - October 5, 2006 - Aquacell Water (AQWT.OB) announced today that it has received verbal commitments from public drinking water providers for its arsenic removal systems totaling approximately $3 million.

"We are very excited about the reception of our arsenic removal systems by public drinking water providers," said Bob Roberts, Vice President of Sales and Engineering. "These commitments will generate approximately $3 million over approximately six months covering 17 wells from 9 customers, representing more than 20% of the amount quoted to date. These installations will additionally provide approximately $750,000 in revenue through the replacement of arsenic removal media approximately every 12 months."

Aquacell informed stockholders in July that it had quoted approximately $9 million in arsenic removal systems to public drinking water providers. Since that time, an additional $4 million has been quoted. While there is no assurance that the Company will continue to close this volume of business, the Company believes that this is a solid reflection of its relationship with The Dow Chemical Company as an authorized dealer of its ADSORBSIAT arsenic removal media, coupled with its ability to design systems that are easy to operate and less expensive than the competition.

Aquacell designs its arsenic removal systems to allow providers of drinking water to come into compliance with new federal EPA regulations that lower the maximum level of arsenic in drinking water from 50 parts-per-billion to 10 parts-per-billion.

Aquacell Water, an authorized distributor of Dow Chemical's ADSORBSIA media in the southwest United States, selected this media for arsenic removal because of its inherent benefits that allow Aquacell to engineer and build smaller footprint systems with no wastewater discharge. Given the ability of ADSORBSIA arsenic removal media to operate under a wide variety of water conditions - including pH fluctuations and resistance to other water contaminants that can affect competitor's medias and resins - Aquacell is able to supply drinking water providers with a truly turnkey arsenic removal system that has both low capital and low operating costs.
