Standard Pacific Corp. Enters San Antonio Market
IRVINE, Calif., March 7, 2005 - Stephen J. Scarborough, Chairman and Chief
Executive Officer of Standard Pacific Corp. (SPF), announced the Company's
expansion into the San Antonio, Texas market. David Matlock has joined
Standard Pacific as President of its new San Antonio division. Mr. Matlock
has 13 years of experience in the homebuilding industry, eleven of which are
in the San Antonio market, and has managed divisions for some of the largest
homebuilders in the Texas marketplace.
Kathleen R. Wade, Standard Pacific's Southwestern Regional President,
